| Day 3 at Jedi Academy on Yavin 4.
The walk in the jungle yesterday with Jacen was an adventure, as everything with him is. He stopped at every living creature he saw and tried to capture them. We came across a transparent type of snake, which we called a crystal snake. It was after that, that we had realised that we were late for our class with Uncle Luke. We had arrived part way through the lesson and received an embarrassing scolding from our mother's brother. I don't know why Uncle Luke was so disapproving, as the lesson was on mediatation techniques, which Jacen and I had neen taught from birth.
Earlier today I asked Uncle Luke about using some of the bits and pieces lying about to use for the cages Jacen asked me to make. I've all of my free time today constructing these cages, I love working on projects such as these, I feel so much at peace with the Force and with myself. Other than that, I've been upgarding the quarters that Jancen and I sleep in, with more glow panels and scrubbing the walls free of moss.
Things with the other students are going well. I spoke with Tenel Ka more, after the morning lessons. She seems a bit of a loner and is a hard one to get to laugh. Jacen kept coming out with his usual strange but funny jokes and not one hint of a smile appeared upon Tenel Ka's face. Jacen, later told me, that he'll try everything to get Tenel Ka to laugh at one of his jokes. I told him good luck, he responded with, "There is no such thing as luck." Quoting the words of Uncle Luke's first Master, Ben Kenobi.

Day 2 at Jedi Academy on Yavin 4.
I'm sitting here in my cramped quarters at the Jedi Academy on Yavin 4 as I fill this entry in. My Uncle Luke insists that all of the students here at the academy write a journal of their experiences while in training.
My brother Jacen, and I arrived on Yavin 4 yesterday. Our father, Han Solo flew us here, Dad even let me fly the Falcon! It was so much fun. I miss Mum a fair bit, no doubt she is busy with the Senate.
Jacen has already been out exploring the jungle around the temple, just moments ago he asked me if I could make him some cages to contain the strage animals he has been finding. Uncle Luke wouldn't be too happy if he knew Jacen was keeping animals in his bedroom uncaged.
I haven't met many of the other students yet. Chewie's nephew, Lobacca is also attending the academy. There's a girl my age named Tenal Ka, I'm not too sure about her.
Well anyway, I have to go, Jacen wants me to go out in the jungle with him, we better not be out there too long, Uncle Luke wants to see us for a class in an hour. | | |
